I’m very pleased and honored to announce that my solo album, ‘Feeling Fifteen Again’, will be given an award at the annual Kankakee Area Music Awards (KAMA) in my hometown, Kankakee, Illinois, for ‘Best Album of the Year’.
And if that weren’t enough to knock my socks off, the song, ‘If It Ain’t Broke’ won ‘Best Song of the Year’.
Much obliged, K3. Much obliged.
It’s been a long time coming and the recognition is very gratifying, to say the least.
Ironically, several years ago, I received a Life-time Achievement Award at KAMA. Little did they know that there was much more to come.
The award ceremony will be held on Friday, April 10 from 7-11 p.m. at the Majestic Theater in Downtown Kankakee.
I’ve asked my family members; sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws to accept the awards on my behalf as I won’t be able to attend do to other obligations.
Please join me in thanking the KAMA organizers for bestowing these awards.
